The China-United States Exchange Foundation (CUSEF) was honored to receive a student delegation from the China Institute in America on July 31, as part of their Summer Heritage Program. The delegation consisted of eighteen students from 12 California high schools.

CUSEF hosted and organized the students’ four-day visit to Hong Kong, which included site visits to the Hong Kong Monetary Authority, the Heritage of Mei Ho House in Sham Shui Po, the DX Design Hub, the M+ Museum in the West Kowloon Cultural District, and the CUSEF headquarters.

While at the foundation, James Chau, CUSEF President, gave a brief overview of the foundation's history and mission. The students also actively participated in a live dialogue, sharing personal reflections from their exchange program in mainland China, and thoughts on contemporary Chinese technology and culture.

As part of the China Institute’s Summer Heritage Program, the students began their journey in mainland China, studying Chinese language in Shanghai, connecting with local students, and exploring Beijing through a cultural tour that included the Forbidden City and other historic landmarks. Their visit to Hong Kong marked the final leg of the program.
